– The blank space in the packaging of medical tablets to prevent chemicals of the medicines to mix. This will prevent medicines from going bad. This is mainly to protect the medicines from external chemicals.
– The blank space are made so that the medicine can be taken anywhere. It gives the medicine a kind of a cushioning effect. This prevents breakage and prevents medicines from mixing with each other. The blank space also prevents the medicine from getting stuck in the packaging machine.
– The other reason is to increase the print area. Some medicines have only one pill and the extra space is added to print essential information about the medicine in the medicine package.
– Sometimes doctors recommend to take some medicines only a few times a week and in this case the medicines should be cut. These space are kept to prevent air to getting into the medicine after cutting.
